Patient participation is important in every treatment, but in brace treatments, the process does not depend entirely on the patient, as in transparent aligners. If certain rules are followed in brace treatment, the treatment can continue as the doctor wishes.

The person can easily use the toothbrush, interdental brush and dental floss as he/she wishes. The most challenging thing for patients during braces treatments is cleaning the food residues that accumulate around the braces. Some patients even state that they are reluctant to eat out just for this reason.
