Medical Editorial Board
All treatment content published on the Doredent website is prepared and regularly reviewed by the Dore Medical Editorial Board.
Our board is responsible for overseeing the medical accuracy, currency and clarity of the information on our website. Each piece of content is published only after it has been reviewed by a dentist specializing in the relevant field. Existing content is periodically updated in line with current scientific evidence and treatment approaches.
Our Content Preparation Process
Content is prepared based on current clinical guidelines and scientific sources.
A dentist specializing in the relevant field reviews the content for medical accuracy and completeness.
Approved content is published. When treatment approaches are updated, the content is revised accordingly.

Uzm. Dt. Merve Özkan Akagündüz
Orthodontics Specialist
Graduate of Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Dentistry. Completed her orthodontics residency at Süleyman Demirel University. Invisalign Diamond Provider with over 1,000 orthodontic treatments. Founder of Doredent.
Board responsibility: Reviewing the medical accuracy of content related to orthodontics, Invisalign, braces, orthopedic jaw treatment and advanced orthodontic procedures. Final approval of all content.
Dt. Buse Esen
General Dentist
Graduate of Karabük University Faculty of Dentistry (2024). Actively practicing in restorative dentistry, endodontics and general dental treatments.
Board responsibility: Reviewing the medical accuracy of content related to fillings, root canal treatment, teeth whitening, dental scaling and general dental treatments.
Dr. Dt. Ceyda Pınar Tanrıverdi
Pediatric Dentistry Specialist (PhD in progress)
Currently pursuing a PhD in pediatric dentistry at Istanbul Health and Technology University. Specializing in preventive dentistry, primary tooth treatments and pediatric patient management.
Board responsibility: Reviewing the medical accuracy of content related to pediatric dentistry, primary tooth treatments, fissure sealants, fluoride application and space maintainers.
Çağdaş Akagündüz
Web Editor
Responsible for Doredent's digital processes, web content and patient communication infrastructure. Manages the website's development and technical operations.
Board responsibility: Ensuring content is written in clear, accessible language; transferring content accurately to the website; tracking update dates; and managing the technical infrastructure.
