Merve Özkan Akagündüz

Dr. Merve Özkan Akagündüz was born in 1988 in Edirne, Türkiye. After graduating from Edirne Anatolian Teacher Training High School in 2006, she began her dental education at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2007 and graduated in 2012, earning her degree as a Dentist.

She began her professional career as a General Dentist in a private dental clinic in Istanbul. In 2014, she ranked 28th nationwide in the Dentistry Specialization Examination (DUS) and was admitted to the Orthodontics Department at Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Dentistry for her specialty training.

After completing her orthodontic specialization in 2019, Dr. Akagündüz worked as an Orthodontist at Çorlu Oral and Dental Health Center, where she gained extensive clinical experience and continued to actively provide patient care throughout the pandemic period.

Between 2022 and 2024, she continued her practice in a private dental clinic in Istanbul. In 2024, she established Dore Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic, where she continues to treat her patients.

Dr. Akagündüz focuses on clear aligner treatments (including Invisalign), fixed orthodontic treatments, and digital orthodontics. She aims to achieve aesthetically pleasing and functionally balanced outcomes through personalized treatment planning tailored to each patient.
